Is it possible just rename the folder name from "\Sybase" to "\sybase" ?
Does it require re-install again ?

You can safely rename the directory above ASE-12_5. The only implication
is that all your settings for environment variables must be changed
accordingly. Hopefully this is set up in a modular way so that you only
have to change the definition of $SYBASE.
