Hi All, How to bring the sybase database offline. Is there
any command/way to do it rather than leave the database
offline state after load.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Some possible supported alternatives:

sp_dboption <dbname>, "dbo use only", true

unmount database

Hi Raj,

You can try dbcc dbreboot with shutdown option.
