Hi there,

The Android sample project uses Android 2.2. which is what I currently use.

Will there be problems creating projects in 2.1.?

What is the recommended starting version for an Android Ultralite project?

Thanks,

Shao

Shao,

The UltraLiteJ Android Jar is built with Android API level 7 libraries,
which is Android 2.1. So, UltraLiteJ supports Android 2.1 and up. The
platform version that you target is up to you. My information is that
most Android devices these days have at least Android 2.2.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for that. You're right - most people are on 2.2. so maybe dropping
this idea is a good one. By the time I complete the application people may
have moved off 2.2. as well.

It's just that a lot of the cheaper devices like the Orange San Francisco /
ZTE Blade are on 2.1. so that got me umming and arrhhing for a while.

Cheers,

Shao
