Hi

One of our client wants to replicate our ADS db (running DBF/NTX) to be
replicated to MS-SQL.

Does ADS Replication supports this ? Anyone else tried doing so ?

Thanks

Rajesh

ADS replication doesn't support that. it's ADS to ADS only.
You might check out Sybase Mobilink.

Thanks Joachim

I will have a look at the same.

Meanwhile, I was wondering if someone else has developed something manually
or using Triggers where-in each table (DBF) in ADS is synched with a same
structure Table in MS-SQL.

I have not personally written anything, but I think some people have
used MS Linked Server in the past to directly access the ADS tables via
SQL server.

Thanks Edgar. (Sorry for a very late response).

It will be nice if you or someone can point me to any reference/link toward
info related to ADS tables being linked/synced with a MS-SQL server.

For my requirement, one way (ADS to MS-SQL) would do.

Live basis would be preferred.

Get the ADS ODBC or OLEDB provider that matches the bitness (32-bit vs
64-bit) of MS-SQL

This one should get you started on the MS-SQL side. Though you should
be able to do this via the GUI in the Enterprise Manager.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa213778(v=sql.80).aspx

Once you have the linked set you should be able to use something such as
described in this KB item to access the ADS tables.
