Hi,
We are trying to install Afaria to manage iOS devices. I am
facing the following problems:
1. I have created an iOS client and have created the device
definitions in the Afaria administration page. I have
downloaded the Afaria client from iTunes store. But when I
start the client on the iPAD, it is asking for an enrollment
code. How can I get this code?
2. I have also configured the SMTP server but when I try to
send outbound notifications, I get the message "success
sending SMTP" but I dont receive any notification on the
device.
It would be great if someone can help me with this. Also I
would like to know if there is any document that explains
how an iPAD can be managed using Afaria.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best Regards,
Chander Subramanian

You do that in the Client Deployment page of the administration app. If
that's not an option for you, then you have a version mismatch between your
Afaria server, and the Afaria client (from the App Store.) You need to be
on HotFix 04 to be able to generate enrollment codes.

SMTP is an email-based protocol. Have you checked the email inbox for the
account?
