hi, We can "select from for update" in Oracle MySql
MSSqlServer even sqlite, how to implement the effect of
"select ... from ... for update" in Sybase ASE, any help
will be appreciated. thank you.

ASE 15.7 (released last week) supports select...for update.
Earlier ASE versions also support select...for update, but only as part
of a cursor. ASE 15.7 supports it for regular select statements (i.e.
withotu a cursor).
