Reboot ASE with traceflag 4044 if the sa login is locked. This will
allowing you to log in as 'sa' anyway, so that you can then unlock other
logins.

ASE have single user mode also? Like the one in MS SQL
Server?

You first need to shutdown the ASE server. If you cannot log into ASE,
use kill -15 on the dataserver process. Only if that doesn't work, use
kill -9.

To reboot ASE, add "-T4044" to the command line in the RUN_server file.
(If you don't know what that is, you need to get help from someone who
knows your local environment; cannot tell from here how that is
organised on your system).

BTW, this has nothing to do with single-user mode (yes, ASE has that too
-- just for the record, the reason MS SQL Server has it is that MS SQL
Server was originally Sybase SQL Server (named "ASE' today)).
