Hi All;

FYI:
http://www.itworldcanada.com/news/gartners-top-10-tech-trends-for-2012/144169?sub=260811&utm_source=260811&utm_medium=dailyitwire&utm_campaign=enews

Note that their are *no* MS-Windows items on Gartner's list. To me, items #
1, 2, 4 and 10 are where Sybase needs to focus PB 15's feature set on - to
ensure it can play in these key areas.

Re: #1 and #2 - mobility at Sybase (an SAP Company) is spelled S.U.P...

#4 - I would argue that this type of functionality doesn't belong in the
application tier... This is more concerned with the delivery mechanism and
management of the policies surrounding the application. Afaria has this
capability already (on certain platforms).

It must have been better since PB11.x came with PB.NET version versus PB
Classic.. We might have gone to mobile targets and all rather following MS 3
years ago for .net strategies which always changes.
We might have been in good shape from then.
MS directed us to move in that direction and now as usual they have changed
their path by killing SilverLight , moving to Win7 / Metro.
