Good day all,

Our company is busy to migrate fron Novell Netware to a Microsoft server.
Advantage Database server is loaded on the Microoft server

Specifications;
Microsoft Server 2008 R2
Advantage Database Server (ADS 9.1)

We had developed some applications in Xbase++ which were running fine on the
Novell server.
When trying to run those applications on the micrsosoft server I get the
following error;
"This application has failed to start because NETWIN32.DLL was not found.
Reinstalling this aplication may fix this problem"

I did some resaerch and found out that this DLL belongs to the Novell
Netware Netlibrary.

How do I fix this problem?

Thanks;

Jay

I suggest to open your application with the tool found at
http://www.dependencywalker.com/
and search wich DLL call what function in NetWin32.DLL

This could give a clue where to look at.

On the first start on the dependancy tool, press F9 to show full path.
Then look in the listbox, to find NetWin32.DLL. Highlight it and press
CTRL-M. This will show you what DLL call NetWin32.dll. Finally, there
is a listbox containings all public functions in NetWin32.dll at the
right. There is a gray icon for unused functions, and a blue icon for
functions called.

Use the 32 bits version for 32 apps else it will fail....
