Hi,

Is there a way to map an orphaned database user to
new/existing login? For sybase ASE 12.5.

Thank you

Yes there are. If You think about the situation where You restored
database from another machine, and in Sybase Central -> database ->
database_name -> users, You see users without login or with mismatched
login name.
Procedure described in document solves this problem.

I hope that I understood which problem You are trying to solve?
