Hi All

I am getting a signal 11 error while executing sybase
procedures from a C - executables; when i executed the same
proc from Rapid SQL it is working fine however not from c
exe.

It is working fine in sybase ase 12.5

Also might be worthwhile to debug the C code via gdb or dbx and step
through it to see where it returns the segv violation.
Wasn't there a DBLIB environment variable (RECTOS) or similar which
spits out all the API calls from C exe into a file in the errorlog
directory which can help glean some useful information (I used it in the
early 1990's and lost track of it)
Also if there is a core file generated you could gdb it as well.
I have not used RIBO from a long time, but it might a good strategy.

if you have iwatch for ASE, you could get a lot of clues to as to whats
causing it..
