Generally speaking the 'guest' user allows new login sessions to access the master database before their credentials
have been verified (eg, to validate password, obtain role assignments (if any), determine default database, get tempdb
bindings (if any), determine what login trigger(s) to execute (if any), etc).

Net result is that you don't want to drop the 'guest' user from the master database.
