Hey All,

I recently absorbed the duties of Afaria / SUP admin at my
company. While I have had no problem with iOS devices, I'm
getting and error message when trying to send outbound
notifications to Android devices. The device can enroll into
the server with no problems, but when trying to apply
polocies through outbound notifications, it fails with the
message, "Fail- Client does not match address".

Also, when trying to lock the device, I receive a "Fail- No
client SMS address".

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

~Timothy

Hi Tim,

Which version of SAP Afaria are you using? If it is Afaria
6.6 then go to Afaria Admin<< Data Views<< Clients<< Locate
your Android Device<< Right Click on it<< Select Client
Connection Information & Enter the SMS address<< Click OK.

Or one more thing you can try, c2DM services for outbound
notifications to Android.

Hope this will Help!!!
