I installed 6.5.1 that I downloaded from ISUG and am having a problem. I
click 'AEM' in PB (11.5 build 2506 and PB 12.5.1 build 4015) nothing is
displayed. I used the defaults during the installation. Any suggestions?

Hi;

FYI: Can you look in the Appeon Developer group from the
Start=>Appeon menu sequence and re-run the "ToolBar Register Tool" (TBRT).

When the TBRT starts, you should see an Appeon version number beside
your PB installed version. If not, Quit the PB IDE & click in the Appeon
version number blank area and a DDLB should appear. Select the version
6.5.1045 and press OK. Now try your PB IDE again.

HTH

to the various PB versions. When I click the AEM icon, it goes to
http://localhost/AEM/ but there is nothing on the screen.

Ahhh ... OK - did you install the Appeon Server helper into your
Web/Application Server?

BTW: What Web/Application Server are you using?

I am using IIS. Where would I find instructions for that?

1) When you installed the Appeon system, did you select the IIs version
of Appeon Server?
2) Do you get any response from IIs when you type "http://localhost" in IE?
3) You are using IE and *not* Firefox or some other browser?

I was finnally able to resolve this by uninstalling Appeon and IIS and
reinstalling both. However, every day when I click the "AEM" button in PB I
get an error - and I have to edit it to comment out the duplicate .css.

Hmmm ... you may want to check for a duplicate AEM.css file somewhere in
your II's wwwroot sub-folders. Also, try clearing your IE cache as well
to see if that helps.

A new problem. When I try to configure a connection cache for Oracle i get
the following error: Testing Connection Cache imdsprod failed: Attempt to
load Oracle client libraries threw BadImageFormatException. This problem
will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle client
components installed.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I tried installing the 64 bit Instant Client
but no luck. Any suggestions there? TIA!

Found it! I had to enable 32 bit in the Appeon application pools.

Correct ... if you install Appeon as 64 bit then it will automatically

Glad you found it!
