Good evening,

I apologize in advance for this question.

I'd like to know if I need a Sybase account to access these
newsgroups on forums.sybase.com from an nntp client?

The thing is I want to access these newsgroup from a NNTP
client (easier for the follow-up). For this I' m using xnntp
on mac os x. Currently I can connect on forums.sybase.com
but I can't retrieve these newsgroups from the list.

My assumption is that I might need a Sybase account and
register it in my app in order to retrieve them but the
thing is I have a Sybase account (very basic one) but I
don't know what I'm missing. I check in the user guide or
any email for support but didn't find any.

If anyone could help me on this, I'll be very happy and
sorry again for this question.

--Simon

You do not need an account. These are public NNTP newsgroups.
