I'm using a datawindow with smaller fields that I need to be able to
pinpoint when using drag and drop icons. I'd like to use something
similar to the cursor where the tip of the arrow is the point at which
coordinates are taken. With drag and drop, whichever icon I use, the
coordinates are taken from the center of the icon which makes it hard
for the user to pinpoint objects which are smaller than the icon.
I've tried shrinking the icon but its still a bit frustrating in
certain situations. Any ideas? I'd appreciate any and all help!

Do you have the ability to create your own icons? If so, create an icon
four times the normal size where your upper half and left half are
simply transparent and the image you want is contained completely in the
lower-right corner.

(This is my way of saying that I don't know how to change the coordinates.)

I've been trying this workaround but haven't been able to save the
icon in this manner, it seems to shrink wrap upon saving. I plan on
checking out some tutorials on the app and see if I can't get it to
work. Thanks for the help!
