I have a datawindow based on this set of data:

COMPANY WARNING
row 1: companyA, WarningA1-Dutch
row 2: companyA, WarningA2-Dutch
row 3: companyA, WarningA3-Dutch
row 4: companyA, WarningA1-French
row 5: companyA, WarningA2-French
row 6: companyA, WarningA3-French
row 7: companyB, WarningB1-Dutch
row 8: companyB, WarningB2-Dutch
row 9: companyB, WarningB1-French
row 10: companyB, WarningB2-French

(comes from an XML)

I made a group on company and put the company in the header of group
1. In the details comes the warnings.

According to the language of the user, the correct warnings are shown
(Dutch or French) and the others are turned invisible.

So a Dutch user get rows:
1
2
3
7
8

A Fench user gets:
4
5
6
9
10

Now I have the problem that when i have "suppress group header"
checked, and I put all fields in details of the first warning
(WarningA1-Dutch) invisible, no header is shown at all...

When I put a field on the details that's always visible, there's no
problem, but my lay-out is messed up.

Why does the header data turns invisible (all fields turn invisible,
not only de XML-fields) when i turn all detail-fields of the first row
invisible?

And why does it work correct if i turn off "suppress group header"?

I'm looking for it for hours now. It must be somethings stupid, but I
can't find it!!!

Tom

Header data comes from the displayed detail data. If you've hidden all
of the detail data, then there is no data to get to display the header.
What you see is exactly what I would expect. But I don't know why you
get different results with the "suppress group header" option.

I don't hide all the data. Only the warning is set invisible. Company
data is not altered in any way.

It seems to me that if all fields, that are NOT in the group clause,
are invisible (the warnings), also the group data (company) is set
invisible when "suppress group header" is enabled.
