Until recently we have had one person working on a small appeon pfc-based
application. Development and deployment has not been a problem. Now we
have another developer contributing to the effort, but have had problems
with deployment. When the original developer deploys the application all
is well, when the second developer deploys the application it appears that
the connection cache cannot be accessed. I set up both environments to be
identical in everyway that I could imagine. We are using PB Native source
control and the latest PFC in PB 10.5. One thing that I notice is that an
incremental deployment on either machine seems to re-deploy an inordinate
number of objects in relation to the changes made. Is this endemic of using
PFC? At this point Developer 2 is having developer 1 do all the deployment,
but this cannot continue longterm. They both must be able to make changes
and deploy at will, especially since they both work remotely part of the
time. Any suggestions regarding team development in an Appeon environment
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,

Happy New Year!

Hope you've got my Email about this issue.

Actually I am not quit sure about your problem yet. Please
help to answer the following questions to further my
understandings

1. Did you meet any error on Developer 2 machine? If yes,
please let me have the error screenshots. If not let me know
why you say that connection cache cannot be accessed.
2. Are the transaction object configurations in Appeon
Profile Configure window the same in both developer
machines?
3. Have you configured all user defined transaction objects
in AEM? Please make sure none of them is missed.
4. How did you synchronize the PB code between developer 2
and developer 1? I mean how you manage your source code?

Thanks,

Sally
