Hi

I am looking for a developer environment for Sybase ASE database.
Prefably one that has integration with some kind of version control
system. (MKS, Subversion,CSV...)

Today I use Emacs... But I am looking for something that gives me
better control, and easier access to the different data-objects.

What is commonly used out there?
Recomandations?

Pål

Thansk for the suggestion.
I am now looking into Workspace, and it is something like what I was
looking for.
So far, I can connect and se my tables and procedures, but I don't get
any output from the SQL scrap book...?
I will play some more with it and see if I can understand why...

Also, I see no interaction with any source version controll systems?

I am also downloading DBArtisan now, and will try that out too.

Any others I chould try?
DBVisualizer?
Aqua Data Studio?
Others?

FYI, there is a newsgroup dedicated to Sybase Workspace where Sybase folks
themselves participate as well as other experienced users.

Personally I use SQLBrowser: http://www.sqlbrowser.com

It can be fully integrated with svn or cvs, has very good ASE integration,
and an excellent SQL debugger. It's written in java, and runs on Windows,
Linux, MacOS, etc.
