I have been trying to BCP an excel spreadsheet to ASE 12.0 for a couple of
days now and I am failing over and over again. I have been forced to learn
a bit more about the BCP command and its parameters than I would have

When the command runs I get a message repeating many times like:

cs_convert: cslib user api layer: common library error: The datatype value
is outside the domain of legal values for the datatype.

After that message finishes repeating, I get the message:

Text/Image field is larger than the maximum value. Data truncated.
Unexpected EOF encountered in BCP data-file.
bcp copy in failed.

This excel spreadsheet was exported from an msaccess table. Can anyone
please help me? Thanks in advance.
