Current versions:

Windows 2000 Server
Adaptive Server Anywhere 8 (8.0.2.4251)
Mobilink Synchronization (8.0.2.4251)

This is what appears in the Event Viewer

"Event ID:1016
The data buffer created for the "MSSQLServer" service in the
"C:\WINNT\system32\SQLCTR70.DLL" library is not aligned on an 8-byte
boundary. This may cause problems for applications that are trying to read
the performance data buffer. Contact the manufacturer of this library or
service to have this problem corrected or to get a newer version of this
library."

What can I do to solve this issue?

Thank you...Rocco

This Event Log entry would appear to have been generated by MS-SQL Server as
opposed to the MobiLink server. Do you have any other details that would
show an issue with the MobiLink server?

No. We recently upgraded from Adaptive Server Anywhere 5 to version 8. The
only errors appearing are the Event ID 1016(list in first email) and
7031("The adaptive Server Anywhere terminated unexpectedly...The following
corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds:No Action.")

**Note(Windows 2000 Server has SP3)

What does the server output window show?
By the way, this is a different description than the event log entry you
originally posted.
