Hi People,

After conclude all installation and configure the appeonsample connection cache to be used by visualcontrolsdemo, I called the application, then this message was generated on EonError log file.

[EonDWCache]  [getDBDW]  Error: unable to find the following record in the database: ApplicationName = visual_controls_demo and DataWindowName= d_grid
EonDataServer  DsRetrieve  Error: unable to find the following record in the database: ApplicationName = visual_controls_demo and DataWindowName= d_grid in database!

I'm attaching the EoinError log file.

Hi Michael,

This probably indicates that the DataWindow was not properly loaded into the EAServer ASA Database.

First of all, please verify that there are two ASA Database Services running in Sybase Central.

Thanks, Rex

Hi rex,

I checked AppeonServerCfg file and I saw that IIOPIP tag was pointed to a wrong IP
number. I don't know when it's defined, but the number doesn't correspond with our IP numbers on the network. I think that the IIOPIP tag configuration should be checked. I fix the problem pointing tag to localhost.

<SysCfg>
 <SessionTimeOut>600</SessionTimeOut>
 <IIOPIP>localhost</IIOPIP>
 <IIOPPORT>9000</IIOPPORT>
 <SecurityMode>0</SecurityMode>
 <LogMode>3</LogMode>
 <UserName>jagadmin</UserName>
 <UserPasswd/>
</SysCfg>

Now, the product is running without any problem and we'll proceed with our
PreSales movements.
