Hello all:

Even on my databases there is no activity, log space as given by Sybase
Central is not 100 % free. For example, there is 60% used log space on
master and 40% used log space on model.

After issuing dump tran..with truncate_only or dump tran..with no_log there
is no more free space than before.

Can anyone tell me why this situation persists?

Sincerely,
Stefan

The master and model database both have mixed data and log segments. I think
this output may be reflecting the fact that data is using up space on the
fragments
that are also assigned to the log segment.
