We are upgrading from 11.9.2 to 12.5. After reading several documents, I
still have one question. Will the upgrade affect the size of the
data/tables in the database? Probably not, but I want to try to get an
exact idea of how much disk space we will need on our servers. Please
don't say, 'disk space is sooo cheap these days' because we have had our
water coolers taken away and yes, the company that used to water all of our
plants has been cut from the lean budget as well!

Cheers,
KT

It won't affect your user tables. System tables and compiled
objects will be affected to some extent, so will the size of
the user stack and other memory. One of the ASE 12.5 manuals/
docs reports the increases.
