Hi,

I've seen older post on this issue, but I haven't found an answer for
it,
so, as one of the original persons asking the question said, I do
apologize
if there is a response already.

I have a composite datawindow with a bank transfer on the first page,
and
a report on the subsequent ones. From the second page on, the company
address should be printed at the bottom. But no space should be taken
by the
footer on the first one, otherwise the bank transfer will be
truncated.
I read, that from PB 10.5, autosize height is availabe in all
datawindow's
bands, so I recommended to wait until our migration from PB 9 to PB
11.2.
Well, migration time came, and problem persists. The company address
is placed
on a collapsed footer (autosized) as a computed text, set it on
autosize
height and visible to true from the second page on. Did not work. From
the
second page on I saw the upper part of the boxed computed field on the
very
bottom of the page (just a line). Then I tried having the footer on a
non-zero
height, but, this time the bank transfer got truncated. To make the
story
short, I tried several techniques, like adding expressions to the
computed
text height, moving it to different bands within the composite dw and
within
the child reports, etc. All in vain.

So, once again, do you guys have a solution for a datawindow footer
having
the autosize height that works? Meaning changing the height according
to its
contents per page.

Thanks a bunch,

Tony
