Hi,
I have an Active Server Pages application running on W2K Server / IIS. For
several Novell servers, this ASP app works great -- using SQL Anywhere 7 on
Novell as the database.

However, there is one Novell server which has a strange problem:

1) If we start using the Web application first, then all is well.

2) If we start by connecting a PowerBuilder application (2-tier
Client-server) to the Novell SQL Anywhere database, then any attempts to
use the web application hang, as soon as the web app tries to connect to
SQL Anywhere.

Both the ASP and the PowerBuilder app connect using ODBC.

What can this be?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
