Any thoughts on fixing a 614 error on ASE 11.5.1 nt 4.0?

Msg 614, Level 16, State 1:
Line 1:
A row on page 2039237 was accessed that has an illegal length of 0 in
database 'fbidb'.
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact a user
with System Administrator (SA) role.

So far, I tried bcp'ing data out but after 2000 records it fails with an
error

CT-LIBRARY error:
ct_cancel(): network packet layer: internal Client Library error: A
read was attempted on a connection already executing a read.

"select into" also fails with this error. It's not correctable with
tablealloc (full, fix) or checkalloc fix. I thought about trying to patch
the pointers to skip past this bad page but there's no guarantee this is
the only page, checktable stops here.

I can reload the data tonight but wanted to give other alternatives a shot
since I have the option to reload the data later.

Any ideas appreciated,

Chris

I recently had a couple of bugs like this one. I didn't call Tech Support
because
our contract is actually through a third party and we need to go through
them. I
will tell you that it is a corruption error and if Sybase can't resolve it,
you might
lose data.

Check your hardware, too. One of our disks went out and we didn't know it
until
we needed it (standard story, right?).

Best regards,

Sam ...
