Hi We are using 5.04 version of SQL Anywhere to connect to the 5.05 SQL
Anywhere Server.

Now We want to Upgrade everything, from OS to the Softwares we are using.

If I purchase Latest SQL Anywhere Studio, Does it include both the Server
and Client Versions.(If Yes with how many licenses).

Can anyone please enlighten me on this ?

Thank You

Praveen.

Praveen,

You can contact sales about the number of licenses you need. The current
version comes with the server and the ODBC dll's needed. Versions after 5.5
didn't use the same client software that was used previously. You can now
use either a ODBC DSN or DSNless connection.

HTH's

Thanks for your replies.

Does it mean I can install the client and the server softwares on separate
machines with the same new Software I purchase ?

Thank You.

Again, that will depend highly on what you buy. Please discuss you questions
with Sales as they are best able to answer licensing questions.
