I am running a web app in ASP using Sybase System 11 ODBC Driver for Sybase
ASE.

The problem occurs when we try to use multiple statements per connection.
Here is the error I got. Has anyone encountered this problem? I tried
configuring ODBC Administrator to allow database cursors and not set to the
default of having one statement per connection to no avail.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[INTERSOLV][ODBC SQL Server driver]Sybase does not allow more than one
active statement when
retrieving results without a cursor.

Hi Ricky,

I had the same problem with a Visual Basic Application and Sybase System 11
ODBC (version 3.x).

In my case I execute the script sycsp11.sql in the server and the problem
was solved.
This script is very important for a good work with OBDC 3.x.

Regards

PD.- I f you don´t have this script, please tell me, because I can send
this.
