Hello,

Can Sybase add the last batch end time to sysprocesses? This can be used
to easily determine the amount of idle to for a connection.

Currently to accurately calculate this for a connection you need to use the
suid, spid, kpid, batch_id using show_plan and snapshots over period of
time to determine if the batch_id for a connection is rising. That is if
they executing SQL.

Thanks,
Ryan Putnam

This can be used to easily determine the amount of idle to for a
connection.

There is an open feature request, CR 308181, to add functionality to the
resource
governor to put limits on idle time, and feature request CR 234716, for
a "last activity"
datetime in sysprocesses to help determine idle time.
