When is PPB going to be released? Also with the released version is there
going to be more database connectivity available. In other words will I be
able to connect to SQL server natively?

Dale,

Pocket PowerBuilder is expected to be released around Sybase Techwave
(August 2003). As for database connectivity, you can create applications
that synchronize to MS SQL Server using the Sybase MobiLink technology. SQL
Server does not provide support for direct connectivity from Pocket PC. We
are only focusing on supporting mobile database offerings that run locally
on Pocket PC devices. In version 1, we have integrated support for Adaptive
Server Anywhere (ASA).
