Is there an "sp_" procedure or a query to check which stored procedures
need to be recompiled? I am altering a table and I wanted to know which
procedures were put out of date by the alteration.

Thanks,
Jo Ann

Well, you don't need to do anything. If you just altered the
table to add new fields, the compiled sprocs won't know about
them. This is OK - unless you have code like "select * from ...".
In which case you may want to recompile them to add the new
fields. Just doing "sp_recompile <tablename>" is sufficient.
"sp_depends <tablename>" will list all the dependencies.
