I forgot to mention that the database was in 'single user' mode and no
users were logged in, when I ran the dbcc.

Since the corruption error is still reported, what do I need to do fix
this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Archana.

Syslogs is the transaction log. It would be common to see errors
if the database is in use and transactions occurring while the
dbcc's are running. There is a trace flag to turn off checking
in syslogs or you can get users off and switch the database to
single user mode (which isn't always practical).

I would try dumping the log to truncate it and then test again.
