Hi,

I was tring to connect to my ASA DB but i in Sybase Central but i got the
following error :

Could not connect to the database
Could not start a database engine
If you are connected to a database that has already been started, make sure
the name in the 'Database name' field is spelled correctly. If you are
starting a new database, check the 'Database file' field to ensure the file
name and path are correct

I was connected to the DB all day and did not do any important
modification. I Kept it open to c the new synchronized data that i am
testing from my Pocket PC. Other DB are working fine. If this cannot be
repaired, is there a way to get the tables structure, synch. version,
users, and publications .... ?

Thanks,
Shirad

How did you manage to resolve the issue in the end?

Did you just reboot the machine? I'd be interested to know what steps you
took.

thanks
