What does this UG think about the status of a) Powerbuilder b) the
consulting industry in general and c) opportunities that exist for
contractors versus FTE's. Are they plentiful?

Marc,

I don't know about the rest of the world but in Australia the number of PB
contracts is down significantly on 12 months ago but the rates are stable
because a lot of PB contractors have moved to Java so the supply is also
reduced. Java contracts are plentiful but the junior roles are paying very
low rates. At the other end though senior J2EE contracts are paying much
more than PB.
