Hi,
If i want to bcp out a big table and store it in an external device
.which would be a best one?I need to bring data from a remote location and
our modem fails multiple times.

It all depends on what plaform you are and what kind of hardware resourcesd
you are limited to, but since using ftp is out of the question (modem
fails), and assuming you don't have another way to connect to the internet,
other options are , zip drives, CD burners, or and old fashion backup/tar to
multiple media (disks, tapes, etc.)
