Hi

I am using Powerbuilder 6.5 with SQL Anywhere. My client wants to upgrade it
to Powerbuilder 8. I would like to know if it can be done directly or we
need to upgrade it to Powerbuilder 7 first?
How does SQL Anywhere different in Powerbuilder 8?

Thanks,
NKG

You can update directly from PB 6.5 to 8. There is a tool called Migration
Assitent that will help you identy code changes between the two versions.
PB 8 contains ASA 7.

Keep in mind that upgrading your version of PB doesn't require you to
upgrade the database. You may want to upgrade the database software at the
same time but you are not forced to. If you do choose to upgrade the SQL
Anywhere software, then the current version is Adaptive Server Anywhere
8.0.2.
