I am using MFC and ODBC for writing an application that needs to know the
available data servers (ASE 11) (like SYBASE CENTRAL that lists the
available servers, for instance) . How can I get the available servers
listduring run-time?

Ummmm ... go through the interfaces file ... and testing/connecting-to
each server listed?

Other than that you'd have to be expecting the dataserver(s) to
broadcast their availability over the network ... and the dataserver, to
the best of my knowledge, does not do any such broadcasting. In other
words, I believe you'll have to poll the dataservers as opposed to
waiting for them to broadcast to you.
