Hi All,
I was setting up a demo for AA, and was'nt able to get AA connected
to the IQ database. I used to get driver assertion when trying to
execute a search.
I then installed the ASA database and was then able to connect to the
ASA database. It seems that after installing the ASA the driver issues
got resolved.
I was then able to get IQ/MYSQL database connectivity going as well.

Have any of you faced similar issues, while setting up AA database
connectivity.
I presume that probably we need to follow some sequence during
installation of AA.
Components that were installed were Java Net Beans, Java JDK, AA and
Tomcat.

Cheers,
Rayan

Thanks rayan for posting and sharing.

If you read the IQ documentation it states that it might run into problems
if you already have ASA installed on your machine.
Anyway the best way out is to use the ASA jdbc driver which might be the
same as the IQ to connect.
For the sequence for AA just make sure that jdk1.5 is installed before you
setup.
