When creating a remote view in VFP 9 that connects to an advantage
database, if I have a join on the view, i get an error stating "Invalid
cursor state" and am unable to edit the view at all. Is there something
I'm missing, or can the views not have joins in them? The tables are in
the same connection, i even get the error when i try to add a second
table to create a join via the view editor!

Thanks,

-E. Moss

joining multiple tables the view gets readonly (static cursor). It
might help to define the view in the data dictionary with instead of
triggers and just select that view in your remote view.
