My machine OS is win2K server+sp3,and install Sybase MAS4.6.1235.0
I only want to install and upgrade my palm software remotely now.How to do?
I access http://localhost:81/ma2000,but failure,and When I access
http://localhost:81,I don't find ma2000 folder in folder list.
I have finished the following:
1) Run the iAnywhere Manage Anywhere Studio Install.
2) Add the account specified for anonymous access in IIS on the iAnywhere
Manage Anywhere Studio Server to the local administrators group in User
Manager. This account is
named IUSR_<miken> by default.//my machine name is miken, and logon by
Administrator;
3) Run the iAnywhere Manage Anywhere Studio Configuration Utility.

After Preparing package(s) for sending,It is reminded that "Unable to send
packages, verify that iis is configured properly and is currently rnning...".
How to do?Thanks.

Do you get any errors when the running the Configuration Utility or the
Deploy Agent Wizard? Have you enabled the Primary Command Server (select
the PCS under the Architecture view, right click on it and choose enable)?
Is your Agent on the PCS as well as the device configured to connect to the
IIS server running on port 81 (by default it will connect to port 80)? Are
you running the ASA database on a standalone engine (dbeng8.exe or
dbeng7.exe) or the network engine (dbsrv8.exe or dbsrv7.exe)? You need to
use the network server engine. If you view the default IIS website (through
the administration tools) do you see a MA2000, MA2000-Home, MAAUTH, and
MA2000-WebAdmin virtual directories?

We would like to provide help as soon as you have answers for ALL the
questions Eric has asked. Some of those other questions (whether you're
really using port 81 -- instead of port 80 -- for IIS or whether the
virtual directories do exist) are crucial.

I would strongly suggest you to test with PC agent clients first to see if
you have similar problems on sending packages to PCs.

Also, please reference the User Guide (it is an Acrobat .pdf document which
you can access on the Command Server by going to Start -> Manage Anywhere
Studio -> User Guide) on the "how to" questions. The entire set of
instructions for Palm devices is at Chapter 11.

The next step I would do is to do what that message says -- verify that IIS
is running properly. Open a Web browser at the Command Server try to access
http://localhost:port_number/ma2000. You should expect the agent download
center page coming up. If not, then either the IIS Admin server is not
running, the IIS Web site is stopped, or the Manage Anywhere Command Server
is not running.

Did you receive any errors during the initial installation of the product?
Have you followed the instructions in the readme.txt file and altered the
IUSR_<servername> permissions appropriately before you installed the
product? Is the World Wide Web Publishing Service running? Any deviation
from these procedures could cause the error that you are seeing.
