Hi everybody .. hope someone can help us !!!

We use PB 7.02 on WindowsNT 4 WS with SP 4/SP5 running against an MS
SQL-Server 6.5 (english).
If we setup a connection for the Database using the "MSS" db type and
connect to the database, PB allocates as much memory as possible ... meaning
the pagefile will be expanded to the maximum defined whereupon NT is
steadily swaping virtual memory in and out ... resulting in a poor
performance.
If we are using an ODBC db type to the same SQL server .. everything is
fine.

But we need the 'benefits' of Transact SQL 6.5.

What can we do ?????

Please give us your comments.

Bye Axel.
