Greetings,

Does anyone know the provider name for Adaptive Server Anywhere for
retrieving SQL data through a (Visual) C++ API? The example in Sams: Teach
Yourself Database Programming With Visual C++ 6.0 uses:
_bstr_t(L"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.3.51; Data Source=c:\\Program
Files\\Sybase\\SQL Anywhere 7\\asademo.db;"),
I need to replce the Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.3.51 part with the correct syntax.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bassam

Hi Bassam,

You may want to post your question in
news://forums.sybase.com/sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general as
sybase.public.sqlserver.* is for ASE a completely different product.
