Hi,

I have a strange problem.

If I have PVCS directories in my PATH (at the beginning or the end), a call
to zi_JavaVM.CreateJavaVM(ls_cp, false) returns -2 . This return code means
that the pbejbclient90.jar is not found (even if it's in the classpath
specified by ls_cp).

With no PVCS in my PATH, it's ok.

This problem occurs when running from PB or from an executable.

Right now, I have removed PVCS from my PATH but Powerbuilder can't connect
to PVCS anymore :-(

Thanks.

Does your PVCS directory have a JVM in it, or perhaps a DLL that
matches one of the Sybase DLLs? Perhaps you just need to make sure
the the PVCS path is after the Sybase path value.

My workaround for now is to leave PVCS in the PATH and to have 2 workspaces
for a project, one which is connected to PVCS and one not connected.

Because after some testing, it's when PB is connected to PVCS that the
CreateJavaVM is failing and not when PVCS is in the system path or not.

Bye.
