Is there any Sybase products like SSL that providing encrypt and decrpyt
API?
By the way,how can I get recv data before sybase SQLServer get it and change
the recv data?

Well, some of the network security features introduced in ASE 12.0.x may be what

you are looking for in terms of encryption. See chapter 10 "Using Network-based
Security"
in the ASE 12.0 System Administration Guide.

For prior versions there was/is a product called "Security Guardian". I believe
it is still
available, but it would be much easier to just go to ASE 12.0. The manual for
it is
available at

To get at data sent to ASE before ASE receives it, you can use the Open Server
API to
create a passthrough gateway server, and set up the interfaces so that clients
talk to the
gateway rather than directly to ASE.

We don't want to intercept the data of client,we want to intercept the data
of server,just like a firewall,Can we do it?
