Hi,

I have a database which used to have data in 2 tables. I have merged then
into 1 in my new system, however, I need to replicate this data back to
the 2 tables old system which is still in effect for a reporting database.

The new table is called TCARD. The old 2 table system has the tables TCARD
and FMTCARD.

What I want to do is replicate some data from TCARD on the new system to
TCARD on the old system and some data from TCARD on the new system to FMTCARD
on the old system.

Is it possible to set up an article twice?

What I want to do is set up 2 articles for TCARD but change the destination
table and filter.

I am using ADS 10 but it doesn't seem possible to set up more than 1 article
for 1 table.

Regards

Mike

Additionally, there doesn't seem to be a way of mapping fields i.e. my field
in the source table is 'startdate', the field in the dest table is called
'date'.

How can I map these?

Regards

Mike

you can't ... but I suggest to use the same tables (just as a copy) in
your new database and insert/update/delete the records via a trigger of
your large table. Then you can replicate these.

Hello Joachim,

OK, that would work. I think a mapping option would be a very useful update
:-)
