While using the dbdnen8.chm help file for the ASA provider, the link to the
Connection Parameters (parameters passed in the connection string) is
broken. Is there anywhere else that I can get a list of all parameters?

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,

Can you post the exact title of the page containing the bad link? Also,
can you tell us which version and BUILD of ASA you are using (dbeng8 -v)

The title will be something like:

Adaptive Server Anywhere Database Administration Guide
2. Connecting to a Database
Connection parameters

(I simply highlight, copy and paste the title into emails and postings).

Thanks,
greg.fenton

Hi Greg,

The version is 8.0.2 Build 4285

The URL is: mk:@MSITStore:dbmaen8.chm::/da-00000216.htm

The link text, "Connection parameters", appears on this page:
Adaptive Server® Anywhere .NET Data Provider User's Guide
Developing Applications with the .NET Data Provider
Connecting to a database
Thanks,
Paul

Thanks Paul!

I have sent this issue off to the docs team. The link is supposed to
point to the Database Administration Guide:

Adaptive Server Anywhere Database Administration Guide
2. Connecting to a Database
- Connection parameters

This documentation ships with ASA 8 online docs.

Post back you still need more information about connection parameters,
greg.fenton
