I need to setup a Sybase Service for a ASA 8 database. Does Sybase ASA 8
Java Tools (Sybase Central) run on an NT 4.0 Server?(SP 6a, MDAC 2.6, IE 6.0
SP1 Also have installed the Personal Server and the Network Database
Server). After installing Java tools I click on Sybase Central and nothing
happens. No errors. Nothing! I reinstalled the Java Tools several times but
no Sybase Central! What's up with this? Any ideas?

Craig

I have one on an NT machine running fine. I had a similar problem on Win2000. In
my case it turned out that my Environment Variable 'Path' setting was too full
and the install program could not write the appropriate reference to Sybase
Central to it.
It appears to have a limit, probably 255 characters, but I did not count.

The install does not generate an error message when this happens.
