I am using the SQL Anywhere v8.01 and when I add a service to run a number
of databases, I find that the parameters, that I enter into the
Configuration tab, get saved in the Registry but they disappear from the
text box on the Configuration tab.

Why is this happening and what can be done about it?

I also thought that I would use the @filename parameter so that I could
create a c:\sybaseconfig.txt file and place the parameters within the
sybaseconfig.txt file. The problem with this is that the Service will not
start as a scheduled task. It just stops with a status of Start Pending.
Can anyone give me some more information on the use of the @filename
parameter? Is there a known problem with trying to start a Sybase Central
created Service via the Windows 2000 Server Scheduler?

Thanks in advance for any help you might give!
