I have a window that contains a tab object with two tab pages. Based
on a certain condition, one will be disabled and the other active--or
vice versa. I can't figure out the programming to make the one that is
active go up front so the user doesn't have to take the extra step to
click on the other tab. Right now, the first tab is always up front
when the window opens. If the conditions made the first tab "grayed
out" (Enabled = False) the user still has to click on the second tab
(the enabled one) in order to start using it. I want to eliminate that
extra step of clicking on the second tab (when it is the enabled one),
I want the enabled tab to always be the one upfront ready to use--no
matter if it is the first tab or second tab. Any hints would be
greatly appreciated.

Have you tried tab_1.SelectTab (2) ? Tab controls have both a
SelectTab() method and a SelectedTab property that you should be able
to use.
